Well, it’s almost the end of the quarter and in today’s class we had an opportunity to talk with each other for a little bit. Then, Mr. Moss wrote on the board the things that we learned in this class. We learned to analyze a project and initiate investigative research by doing the CSULA project posters and analyzing the ideas about was successful and what was not about each one’s posters. We learned to Develop sources and inspiration for ideas by playing games and the experienced of playing them. Also, the TED videos were inspiring. We learned to articulate visual concepts with informative and accurate sketches by learning from each other and getting feedback. We just have an example of the style boards that communicate tone and personality for a design. The style boards are a collection of pictures that communicate mood and tone. We learned to generate many different ideas quickly by doing the 30 sketches and many more. Finally, we learned to develop appropriate ideas for experimental, editorial, corporate, entertainment applications, and write a creative brief. We actually did our own creative brief. What I learned in this class was to communicate more visually and develop my ideas further and do more sketching. This class Concept development as Mr. Moss described is a course of creative process, self analyzes, structure, and divergent thinking.

Hey good Luck on your finals!
ReplyDeleteIrene,
ReplyDeleteI'd like to ask If you would keep this blog online? It would be a helpful resource to future sections of Concept Development. At least thru the end of Spring, 2010.
Thanks,
Jimmy
